I began photography in November of 2010 after a good deal of influence by my wife. When I discovered HDR photography and realized that I could actually take pictures of things and places the way I see them, I became instantly hooked. My goal is to capture things from unique places which sometimes means hiking for miles with my equipment or climbing down steep ravines to put myself in the right place at the right time.

I have been dabbling in amateur photography for years. My photography style is handheld and auto almost all the way – I like to be ready to take photos on the fly, which is especially helpful since I enjoy wildlife photography the most. I also enjoy spotting tiny intricacies through macro photography so that things you may not notice on a day to day basis can be seen in a larger than life way.
